Waupaca County sheriff’s report March 12

• March 11 – Caller from the 200 block of West Alfred Street, Weyauwega, reported an intoxicated man showed up and wanted to fight with the caller’s son. He said there were no weapons and nobody else was drinking.

• March 11 – Caller from the 300 block of East Alfred Street, Weyauwega, reported a woman was locked in the bathroom and could not get out.

• March 11 – New London caller reported his 16-year-old friend in Weyauwega had been texting that they will not see him anymore.

• March 11 – Caller from New London medical center called for help getting her son out of the car. She said he consumed a handful of pills and had a rope ready to hang himself.

• March 11 – Caller from Dey Road, New London, reported a neighbor was shooting guns and may have hit their shed.

• March 11 – Caller from Nottleson Road, Scandinavia, reported her ex-hsuband moved out and took the children with him. They have joint custody but she does not know where the children are.

• March 11 – Chain One Stop, County Trunk QQ, Waupaca, reported a $45 gas drive-off.

• March 10 – Caller from 400 block of SE Sixth Street, Marion, reported someone broke into his home and stole approximately $520.

• March 10 – Caller from ThedaCare in New London reported a dog bit a 59-year-old woman. Dogs belonging to her and her son had been fighting, and she tried to break up the fight.

• March 10 – Caller from the N2900 block of Otter Driver, Waupaca, reported his neighbor’s dogs had been barking for the past two hours.

• March 10 – Caller from the 300 block of North Washington Street, Waupaca, reported two youth pushed and hit him.

• March 10 – Caller from Kwik Trip, West Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported a man locked his keys in his vehicle at the pumps, then became angry and threatened to kick in a window because he must call someone to come and unlock his vehicle.

• March 9 – Caller from the N1500 block of U.S. Highway 10, Weyauwega, reported someone obtained a credit card using her name, then used it to make a purchase either online or in California. The card was delivered to an address in Wisconsin.

• March 9 – An officer was dispatched to the third floor of the Waupaca County Courthouse in Waupaca. A man reported his ex-wife’s boyfriend pushed him and threatened him.

• March 9 – Little Wolf town chairman reported an asphalt company was hauling equipment on North Water Drive.

• March 9 – Rosa Theater, South Main Street, Waupaca, reported a man who was possibly in his 30s fell and was unable to get back up. He seemed delirious.

• March 9 – Kwik Trip, Shawano Street, New London, reported a man and a woman sleeping several hours in a vehicle parked beside the building.

• March 8 – Caller from the N10100 block of Lambie Road, Clintonville, reported she and her husband have been receiving threatening calls on their cellphones from a blocked number. The calls were in Spanish, so they were not sure exactly what was being said, but it involved their property and their animals.

• March 8 – Caller from the E1700 block of Tresness Road, Iola, reported receiving an email from someone claiming to be with Apple. She was concerned because she gave them her Social Security number.

• March 8 – Pick N’ Save, West Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported catching a shoplifter. The store recovered its merchandise, but discovered a lot of electronics in the shoplifter’s backpack. He was last seen walking east on Fulton Street.

• March 7 – A 77-year-old resident at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported he was missing $500.

• March 7 – An 83-year-old resident of the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported the theft of aluminum cans.

• March 7 – ThedaCare in Waupaca requested police assistance with a combative patient.

• March 7 – Walgreen’s, West Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported a shoplifter in his early 20s stole antidiarrheal medication, toothbrushes and Q-tips.

• March 7 – Caller from the N8300 block of Carper Road, Iola, reported wiring $800 to a puppy business in Houston, Texas, but she did not receive the puppy.

• March 7 – Caller from the 300 block of Oak Street, Waupaca, reported a man was lying on the sidewalk. When the caller asked the man if he was OK, he gave a thumbs up but did not respond verbally. He had been seen earlier staggering down the road.

• March 7, Iola Living Assistance, Chet Krause Drive, Iola, reorted they fired an employee who then came to work, used her key card to enter the facility, then called other employees to obtain their log-in information so she could gain access to the computer system.

• March 6 – Caller from the 1500 block of Mill Street, New London, reported a woman kicked her stepmother and knocked her down.

• March 6 – ThedaCare in Clintonville reported a 26-year-old patient who was hearing voices and saying she would harm herself.

• March 6 – Harvey Dental, East Badger Street, Waupaca, reported graffiti on the side of the building.

• March 6 – Caller reported a hit-and-run in the parking lot at Culver’s, West Fulton Street, Waupaca. The black Chevy pickup truck drove off and was last seen at the Kwik Trip on County QQ.

• March 5 – Caller from County Trunk E, Ogdensburg, reported a woman in her 60s was in a silver car in a parking lot with her pants pulled down. When the caller confronted the woman, she drove away.
