Mary J. Wiszus, age 73 of Marion, passed away Wednesday evening, March 7, 2018 at Aster Assisted Living in Clintonville.
Mary Jean Wiszus was born August 7, 1944 in Chicago, daughter to the late Roman and Elaine (Krueger) Migut. She attended and graduated high school in Chicago; and was later united in marriage to Michael L. Wiszus on June 22, 1963. Mary, along with her husband, later relocated to the Marion area, where they have resided since. Michael passed away on July 29, 1998. Mary was able to be a stay-at-home mom who was always there for her children. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Survivors include: daughter, Annette (Alan) Niebur, Clintonville; sons, Tim (Lori) Wiszus, Marion and Steve Wiszus, Marion; grandchildren: Jake (Chelsea) Wiszus, Marion; Jamie Wiszus, Green Bay; Nikki (Ramsey Riehl) Wiszus, Greenville; Kristen (Sean) Kallas, Sheboygan; Megan Pingel, Clintonville; and Lauren Pingel, Clintonville; great-grandchildren: Deanna, Colton, Emilee, Hannah, and Liam; sisters, Alice Washer and Patricia Bianco; brothers, Mark (Vicki) Migut and Raymond Migut. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael; and a sister, Louise McGlin.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Marion. Inurnment will take place at Roseland Cemetery, Town of Dupont, in the spring. An online guestbook is available at eberhardtstevenson.com.
