Stevens, Tyler L.
On Sunday, March 18, Tyler became a hero to many as he donated his organs to people in need. Tyler was born on August 9, 1991 in Waupaca to Sam and Debra (Nowland) Stevens. Tyler attended Wild Rose Schools and for many years was employed by Lauritzen Farms where he worked alongside family. Tyler was a small town boy who relished the country life and the ethics that lifestyle entailed. Always gentle and kind, personable and loved by all that had the privilege of having him in their life. Tyler enjoyed spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephew. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to music and playing video games. He also loved to skateboard.
Those Tyler leaves behind are his loving mother, Debra (Mike) Stevens, Wild Rose; his parent, Symantha Stevens, New Orleans, LA; his sister, Jessica (Lance) Nennig and their children, Kendra and Kaleb, Dotyville, WI; his brother, Sam (Sania) Stevens and their children, Macayla and Lydia, Neenah, WI. Also surviving are his paternal grandparents, Bruce and Shirley Stevens, Waupaca and many other relatives and friends. Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tom and Vione Nowland, two brothers, Jerry and Jim Stevens as well as two uncles, Dennis Nowland and Dale Stevens.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Saturday, March 24 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to the staff at Mercy Medical Center. We would also like to thank the family that shared our sorrow at Mercy.
