Waupaca County sheriff’s report March 26

• March 25 – Caller from the 100 block of South Main Street, Waupaca, reported a woman in an orange tank top was laying in the middle of Jefferson Street by the library and yelling at a man in a black and white sweatshirt.

• March 25 – Caller from the 200 block of East Union Street, Waupaca, reported a man took her purse with all her ID and would not return it.

• March 25 – New London woman called and reported someone stole $70 from her while she was at the docks on the river.

• March 24 – Caller from 200 block of Alfed Street, Weyauwega, reported two men came back with a boat they found floating. A wallet and car keys were in the boat.

• March 24 – Caller from E3300 block of Crystal Road, Waupaca, reported his mailbox had been hit by a baseball bat.

• March 24 – Caller from the N700 block of County Trunk X, Weyauwega, reported someone smashed their mailbox with a TV.

• March 24 – Caller from E2900 block of Bags Hill Road, Waupaca, reported a mailbox damaged by an aluminum bat.

• March 24 – Kingdom Hall of Jehovah, Clintonville, reported receiving a phone message that threatened to shoot someone if they continued leaving pamphlets at his home. No name or address was left with the message.

• March 24 – New London man reported his phone had been hacked and he could not access his accounts. Someone was demanding money to unlock his phone.

• March 23 – Caller from Seventh Street in Clintonville reported a woman was screaming and waking up her children.

• Sunset Oil, U.S. Highway 10/110, Weyauwega, reported a $27 gas drive-off.

• March 23 – Manawa resident reported receiving a $599 bill from a collections agency for an item he did not purchase.

• March 23 – Waupaca man reported a 16-year-old headbutted his 10-year-old son while they were riding the school bus.

• March 23 – Caller from the 300 block of Granite Street, Waupaca, reported a man was looking in her vehicle, then yelled that he would kill her if she did not return some of his belongings.

• March 21 – Iola woman said her soon-to-be ex-husband threatened her while they were discussing the terms of their divorce.

• March 21 – East Side Mobil, Tower Road, Waupaca, reported a woman had parked her car there for more than three hours.

• March 21 – Caller from the 600 block of East Ann Street, Weyauwega, reported her neighbor threatened to shoot her, her daughter and her dog.

• March 20 – Caller from the 800 block of Berlin Street, Waupaca, reported his ex-wife took his car while he was in jail and hid it at a relative’s house.

• March 20 – Caller from the 500 block of River Street, Waupaca, reported a suspicious package on her steps and she did not want to touch it. Police resonded and said inside the package was a book her neighbor left for her.

• March 20 – Caller from Garfield Lane, Waupaca, reported receiving a text message about a government grant that offered $3 million in exchange for personal information and $15,000.

March 20 – Three mailboxes were reported damaged on Saxeville Road and Pine Hill Road, south of Waupaca.
