Number of years as head coach: Fourth.

Returning varsity athletes: Justin Bonikowske (12), Kole Ellenbecker (12), Ben Gocker (12), Hunter Hanson (12), Jase Krull (12), Drew Lauterborn (12), Connor Roesler (12), Tristan Seaman (12), Lucas Wenzel (12), Eli Kramer (11), Jason Jennerjohn (11).

Athletes to watch: Kyle Stuewer (11), Grant Mullins (11), Jose Concepcion (10), Parker White (10), Reed Hafeman (10), Mason Thiel (10).

Team goals/expectations: We expect to compete for a conference championship, and our ultimate goal is to play at Fox Cities Stadium the second week in June.

Team’s strengths: Pitching depth, work ethic and attitude.

Team’s weaknesses: Lack of varsity experience.

Team(s) to beat in conference: Kimberly.

Biggest games on the schedule: The next one. We want to compete each and every night. If you are looking past a team in our conference, you will get beat.

What you want your athletes to get out of this season: To grow as players and as men.

Why fans should be excited for this year’s team: We traditionally play good baseball in Hortonville. We are a young but talented team that wants to continue the tradition of Hortonville baseball.
