Waupaca County sheriff’s report May 7

• May 6 – Caller from the 400 block of South Western Avenue, Waupaca, reported her neighbors were fighting.

• May 6 – Caller from the 1700 block of Smith Street, New London, reported his aunt’s boyfriend took his great-grandmother’s car without permission.

• May 6 – Caller from the E5600 block of Butternut Ridge Road, Weyauwega, reported her boyfriend beat her up and she hit him with a baseball bat.

• May 6 – Caller from the N3200 block of Butts Road, Waupaca, reported her brother is choking her.

• May 6 – Caller from the 400 block of North Washington Street, Waupaca, reported a burglary at his home.

• May 5 – Caller from the N1900 block of Manley Road, Hortonville, reported someone busted some windows and ransacked his home.

• May 5 – Caller from the N3600 block of State Highway 110, Weyauwega, reported being punched and kicked. He said the assailant drove off on a three-wheeler.

• May 5 – May 5 – Caller from the 300 block of North Morton Street, Waupaca, reported finding a syringe.

• May 5 – ThedaCare-Waupaca reported treating a 19-year-old woman whose uncle’s dog bit her in the face.

• May 5 – Caller from 400 block of Ash Street, Manawa, reported people were standing outside a house where a burglary occurred earlier.

• May 4 – Caller from the 100 block of Second Avenue, Weyauwega, reported finding marijuana in a Mason jar outside his home.

• May 4 – Landlord from the 800 block of School Street, Waupaca, reported the door to his property was kicked in and a large TV removed. The tenant is currently incarcertated.

• May 4 – Caller from the 100 block of East South Street, Weyauwega, reported she thinks her son has drugs in his vehicle.

• May 4 – Caller reported seeing a shabbily dressed man in his late 20s with what appeared to be a 4-year-old girl in a swimsuit, walking down County Trunk QQ, Waupaca. The caller thought it looked suspicious.

• May 4 – A 23-year-old man from the 7600 block of County Trunk H, Fremont, reported his 56-year-old father hit him with a golf club.

• May 4 – A woman called and asked that an officer meet her at the Holiday Station in Waupaca so she could report prior domestic violence involving her ex-boyfriend.

• May 4 – Waupaca County Emergency Communications received two calls from the 400 block of Evergreen Street, New London. The first call was from an 18-year-old who said she argued with her mother’s ex-boyfriend, then locked him out of the house. Then a 31-year-old man called and said his ex-girlfriend’s daughter locked him out of the house after he when outside to smoke.

• May 3 – Marion police received an email about finding a dozen plastic milk jugs filled with a brownish liquid.

• May 3 – Staff at Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported a resident threatened to beat up a social worker.

• May 3 – Kwik Trip, Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported having video of a man stealing a can of soda.

• May 3 – Rawhide Boys Ranch, New London, reported a 17-year-old boy walked out, then kicked through a door to get back into the facility.

• May 2 – Caller from the N1400 block of Cedar Lane, Waupaca, reported the theft of a license plate from his car.

• May 2 – A Waupaca woman reported her boyfriend may have overdosed on anxiety medication. She hung up, then called back and said he was conscious and breathing.

• May 2 – Scandinavia C Store reported a $20 gas drive-off.

• May 2 – Fletch’s Corner Store, Embarrass, reported a $25 gas drive-off.

• May 2 – ThedaCare-Waupaca reported a 61-year-old man came into the Emergency Room because his own dog bit him. The dog was current on its rabies shots, but was quarantined.

• May 2 – Caller from the 1000 block of Riverside Drive, Waupaca, reported their neighbor’s dogs were barking.

• May 2 – Caller from the 300 block of Wisconsin Street, Waupaca, reported $1,000 had been stolen from his apartment and he suspects his cousin.

• May 1 – Caller from the trailer park on U.S. Highway 45, New London, reported two men and a woman were going door-to-door, offering to clean people’s homes at no charge.

• May 1 – Caller from the 100 block of West Sumner Street, Weyauwega, reported her 9-year-old son ran away. She described him as having a mohawk haircut. Less than 20 minutes later, another caller reported seeing a 10-year-old boy with a mohawk walking along U.S. Highway 10.

• May 1 – Caller from the N4500 block of Ostrander Road, New London, reported someone stuffed horse manure into her mailbox.

Traffic
• Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, in the town of Lebanon.

Sven Erickson, 44, Omro, was participating in a benefit ride when he crested a hill and suddenly realized the group had slowed down. He did not have time to stop, so he locked the brakes and dumped the bike.

Erickson and a passenger, Kelly J. Averill, 40, Appleton, were transported from the scene via ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.

• Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3 p.m. Monday, April 30, in Royalton.

Seth O. Vance, 25, Greenville, was southbound on County Trunk O, about 50 feet north of White Lake Road, when his Dodge Ram drifted onto the shoulder. He then overcorrected, slid sideways across the roadway and into the ditch where the vehicle rolled over onto its passenger side.

Vance and a passenger, Bobbie Jo Cunningham, 21, Waupaca, were transported by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.

Vance was cited for operating with a controlled substance.
