Waupaca County sheriff’s report June 4

• June 4 – Caller from the 700 block of East Beacon Street, New London, reported a neighbor’s barking dog woke her up at night.

• June 3 – Caller from N10900 block of State Highway 22, Clintonville, complained about speeders and said he clocked a milk truck going 60 mph. He said a speed sign was posted by his house and nobody speeds when a deputy is present. Dispatch asked the caller what more the county could do and “he got mad and hung up on me.”

• June 3 – Family Dollar, Wolf River Plaza, New London, reported an ongoing problem with illegal dumping. An envelope with the suspect’s name and address had been found.

• June 3 – ThedaCare reported a 76-year-old woman came into the ER with a dog bite. The dog belonged to her son.

• June 3 – Caller from the 700 block of LeRoy Butler Drive, Waupaca, reported the father of her children yelled and threatened her when he dropped off the children.

• June 3 – Caller from the 500 block of Partridge Drive, New London, reported the neighbors were playing loud music.

• June 2 – Jack’s Corner Bar, Main Street, Weyauwega, reported kicking two men out of the tavern because they were snorting cocaine in the men’s room.

• June 2 – Caller from the 100 block of West Beacon Avenue, New London, reported there were people making a lot of noise in an apartment where they did not belong and where the tenants were not home.

• June 2 – About two dozen cows were reported wandering on Meisner Road in Tigerton.

• June 2 – Caller from the 500 block of Smith Street, Waupaca, reported someone dumped a couch on her driveway and she is unable to move it.

• June 2 – Owner of Waypoint Financial Solutions, Badger Street, Waupaca, reported finding a cellphone, cigarettes and possibly a joint outside the business.

• June 2 – Caller from N5400 block of Obertin Road, New London, reported neighbors playing loud music.

• June 1 – Caller from the 100 block of Norse Street, Scandinavia, reported the back window had been smashed out of her Jeep Grand Cherokee.

• June 1 – Resident of the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported the theft of an undetermined amount of cash.

• June 1 – Caller from the 500 block of Center Street, Wauaca, reported a dog in the neighbor’s house would not stop barking.

• June 1 – A cellphone caller reported two boys, about 5 and 3 years old, were walking right next to traffic on Harrison Street in Waupaca.

• June 1 – Caller from the 300 block of Western Avenue, Waupaca, reported a man and woman were walking up and down the street, screaming.

• June 1 – Chain One Stop, County Trunk QQ, Waupaca, reported a $20 gas drive-off.

• June 1 – Caller from 800 block of Eighth Street, Waupaca, reported a visitor was refusing to leave his house.

• June 1 – Caller from the 500 block of High Street, Waupaca, reported an 11-year-old boy was out of control, hitting and kicking his mother.

• June 1 – Caller from Janesville reported her 14-year-old daughter ran away while they were visiting a friend in Waupaca County.

• May 31 – Caller from the E2200 block of Glenvale Court, Waupaca, reported two men standing by the road, flagging down passing vehicles. They appeared high.

• May 31 – ThedaCare-Waupaca reported a dog bit a woman on the forearm and the wrist.

• May 31 – Zion Lutheran Church, Marsh Road, Fremont, reported someone drove through the cemetery and struck a concrete bench.

• May 31 – Caller from the E1400 block of West River Hill Road, Iola, reported someone busted out a bedroom window at his cabin.

• May 31 – A Wild Rose caller reported seeing two children beating a dog with a stick.

• May 31 – A fight was reported outside Barzo’s Bar, Wolf River Drive, Fremont.

• May 30 – A Manawa woman reported finding her 60-year-old husband hanging in the garage and she could not get him down.

• May 30 – Caller from the N2400 block of Skyview Lane, Waupaca, reported the theft of a Glock semi-automatic handgun and two loaded ammo clips.

• May 30 – A Pine River man reported his wallet was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the alley west of Main Street, Waupaca.

• May 30 – A resident of the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported the theft of $17.

• May 30 – Sunset Oil Co., Old Highway 49, Weyauwega, reported a $43 gas drive-off.

• May 30 – Caller from the E5000 block of Haire Road, Weyauwega, reported a dog attacked an 80-year-old woman.

• May 30 – Caller from the 200 block of South Main Street, Clintonville, said he had alcohol poisoning and felt depressed.

• May 30 – Contractor on Marsh Road, New London, reported someone entered the house where he was working and stole a shotgun.

May 29 – Burger King, West Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported a drive-thru customer drove off without paying for the order.

• May 29 – Marion caller reported her 17-year-old son skipped school and had not returned home as of 7:45 p.m. She suspected he was at a friend’s house in Manawa, drinking and smoking pot.
