The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a special weather statement regarding Waupaca County.
Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Amherst to 7 miles east of Kewaunee shortly after noon. Movement was south at 20 mph.
Half-inch hail and winds gusts to around 40 mph will be possible with these storms. Torrential rain can also be expected with rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour.
Waupaca, Clintonville and New London may be impacted by this storm.
Some street flooding is also possible, especially in the Clintonville area.
