Waupaca River may rise to 8 feet
The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a flood warning for the Waupaca River near Waupaca.
The river was up to 4.6 feet at 10:45 a.m. Monday.
The flood stage is 6 feet.
The Waupaca River is expected to rise above the flood stage by late Monday afternoon and continue to rise to nearly 8.2 feet by Tuesday morning.
Widespread lowland flooding in the Waupaca area is expected to occur.
The Waupaca River will fall below flood stage by Wednesday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
A minor flood warning has also been issued for the Little Wolf River in Royalton.
