Family movie night in Weyauwega
The Weyauwega Police Department and Wega Drive-In are teaming up for Cops ‘n Cones Movie Night on Thursday, June 28, at the drive-in.
People of all ages are invited to the event. which includes free ice cream from 6-8 p.m. (one small cone per person), prizes and the showing of the movie at 8 p.m.
The movie being featured is a 2016 animated musical film that is about the daughter of a Polynesian village chief. She is chosen by the ocean to reunite a relic with a goddess.
Officers are going to be at the outdoor movie night with their squads, and K9 Cesar is stopping by for a visit as well.
The evening’s activities are part of the police department’s philosophy of developing and maintaining positive relationships with the community and its youth.
Wega Drive-In is located at 417 W. Main St., Weyauwega.
