Ione Christensen, beloved daughter of Daniel and LaVila DeHart; wife to Donald Christensen; mother to Sally Christensen Christie (Douglas) Waupaca, and Janice (Thomas) Christensen Paul- Salem, OR; grandmother to Jennifer (Todd Smith, husband) Paul- Salem, OR, and Ian Christie- Waupaca; quietly slipped into eternity Sunday, December 31, 2017.
A celebration of her life will be held Monday, August 6, 2018 at Maple Crest Funeral Home, N2620 Hwy 22, Waupaca, WI. Visitation: 9:30; Memorial service: 10:30 with lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established to train widows in developing nations to sew.
