Margaret “Peggy” Doughty went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 21, 2018.
She was born on November 29, 1930 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Helen and Theodore Luhman. She married Dick Doughty on June 17, 1950 in Detroit, MI, and a few years later they moved to Wisconsin. She worked at Scott Abstract and Mooramatic in Waupaca, the Iola hospital, and then worked for the Dr. Maasch and Dr. Bucholz medical office in Weyauwega for 28 years where she retired and worked for Iola Assisted Living for 10 years.
She is survived by her son, Eric (Sarah Abramson) Doughty; a daughter, Laura (Robert) Breece; a granddaughter, Jenel (Mario) Cano; and two great-granddaughters, Maya and Gaby Cano.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at The First Lutheran Church in Ogdensburg, WI beginning at 11 a.m. Harold Clumpner will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service. A private family burial will take place in the Park Cemetery in Ogdensburg.
