Body found on Golke Road

Man killed in suspected hit-and-run

Police found the body of an 18-year-old man lying on the road in the town of Farmington.

At 3:04 a.m. Saturday, July 28, a call to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office reported that a man who appeared to be dead was on Golke Road about 0.3 miles west of County Trunk Q.

The victim was identified as Tim Michael Cruse II, Amherst. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officer believe the man was walking on Golke Road when he was struck by a westbound vehicle, which left the scene.

The striking vehicle may not have had a lot of damage.
