Waupaca County sheriff’s report July 30

• July 29 – Caller from the 1200 block of Wyman Street, New London, reported his daughter’s mother’s boyfriend threatened to beat him up.

• July 29 – Caller from the 100 block of North Main Street, Waupaca, reported her friend’s ex-boyfriend was trying to break down the door to get into her friend’s home.

• July 28 – Caller from the 400 block of South Division Street, Waupaca, reported a man whose name she did not know, was in her apartment and refused to leave. She said she was scared for her life.

• July 28 – Caller from the E300 block of Rieben Road, Waupaca, reported a 24-year-old woman was at his door, barefoot and crying. The caller put the woman on the phone with dispatch. She said she ran away from her boyfriend.

• July 28 – A Wittenberg caller asked an officer to conduct a welfare check on an Iola woman whose alcoholic son moved in and will not leave.

• July 28 – Caller from Sunset Drive, Iola, reported her neighbor keeps going onto their property and telling her and her family to go back to where they came from. She believes it is because her husband and children are black.

• July 28 – Caller from the E7100 block of State Highway 54, New London, reported an elderly man goes onto their property and yells at his wife and children, claiming their property should be his.

• July 28 – Caller from the W10600 block of Pine Road, Clintonville, reported the neighbor’s children keep going onto her property and destroying her things. She said the mother threatened to punch her in the face.

• July 28 – Caller from the 200 block of South Main Street, Clintonville, reported someone stole his credit card, but he could not answer many of the dispatch officer’s questions. Dispatch advised caller to sober up and call back later.

• July 27 – Wally World Tavern, County Trunk QQ, Waupaca, reported there were more than a dozen people vandalizing kegs on the back porch.

• July 27 – Caller from the N11600 block of County Trunk P, Iola, reported several pounds of nails had been dumped in his driveway and onto the road.

• July 27 – Caller from the E500 block of Cobbtown Road, Waupaca, reported a speeding car but would not give more information to the dispatch officer, who recognized his voice from prior calls. The caller said he had to go because the attorney general was beeping him.

• July 27 – The Waupaca Area Public Library reported two juvenile boys were ramming their bicycles into the front door.

• July 27 – Caller from Brent Street, Clintonville, reported a dump truck hit a F250 truck, then drove away. Nobody was injured.

• July 26 – Staff at Scandinavia C Store, Scandinavia, reported a woman pumped $20 worth of gas, then said she did not have any money to pay for it. She left her driver’s license, but had not returned to the store after 12 days.

• July 25 – Caller from the 800 block of Ware Street, Waupaca, reported they were preparing for a garage sale the following day, but a man in a gray T-shirt insisted on making purchases before the sale opened.

• July 25 – Caller from the N8100 block of Bells Corner Road, Bear Creek, reported her ex-boyfriend left a message threatening to burn down her home.

• July 24 – Two bikes were reported stolen from the 600 block of Elm Street, Waupaca.

• July 24 – Cheesie Bob’s Cheese House, County Trunk QQ, King, reported the theft of a plastic Green Bay Packers helmet that is larger than a beachball.

• July 24 – Caller from the E8500 block of Weyauwega Road, Mukwa, reported the theft of a black Buick Rendezvous.

• July 24 – A second caller from the E8500 block of Weyauwega Road, Mukwa, reported the theft of a tan 2011 Chevy Equinox.

Traffic
A New London woman suffered suspected minor injuries in a crash shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday, July 26.

According to deputies, Katlyn Marie Buskirk, 23, was northbound on County Trunk K when she failed to stop at the stop sign at the T-intersection with County Trunk B in the town of St. Lawrence.

Buskirk crossed County B, struck an embankment and then hit some small trees.

She was transported by ambulance to a hospital for suspected minor injuries.

Buskirk was cited for OWI, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to keep a vehicle under control.
