Waupaca County sheriff’s report Aug. 6

• Aug. 5 – Caller from the E9000 block of State Highway 96, Readfield, reported the male driver of a white van crashed into her garage and was now trying to leave.

• Aug. 5 – Caller from the N4800 block of State Highway 22/110, reported someone went through two of their vehicles overnight and took some cigarettes.

• Aug. 5 – Caller from the E1500 block of Larson Road, Waupaca, reported he lost his debit card, and someone used it to withdraw $600 from his account.

• Aug. 4 – Caller from the N2800 block of Ona Pines Road, Weyauwega, reported someone keyed her car.

• Aug. 4 – Waters Supper Club, West Wolf River Avenue, New London, reported having video of an employee taking money out of the cash register.

• Aug. 4 – Big Storage, Wisconsin Street, Fremont, reported a lock had been cut at a storage unit.

• Aug. 4 – Taco Bell, North Shawano Street, New London, reported a disorderly customer who was swearing at staff and refusing to leave.

• Aug. 4 – Caller from the E2600 block Of Marion Lane, Waupaca, reported a neighbor mowed his lawn and blew the grass all over the roadway.

• Aug. 4 – Caller from the 1200 block of South Division Street, New London, complained about cars speeding up and down the gravel street.

• Aug. 4 – Caller from the 1000 block of Washington Street, Fremont, complained about a squad car being parked near his home. He suspected the officer was surveilling his house, and he wanted the officer to leave.

• Aug. 4 – New London caller reported he had his daughter for the weekend and found nude photos of his ex-wife and his daughter on a phone provided by the girl’s mother.

• Aug. 4 – Caller from the 600 block of Oak Street, Waupaca, reported a carton of cigarettes were stolen from his car.

• Aug. 4 – Caller from the 600 block of Oak Street, Waupaca, reported several items had been stolen from her car over the past two nights.

• Aug. 3 – Caller from the N3500 block of County Trunk W, New London, reported the theft of $39,000 from his bedroom closet.

• Aug. 3 – Caller from the 600 block of Oak Street, Waupaca, reported a 21-speed blue Mongoose bike was stolen. He had video of the people taking the bike. They were also seen trying to break into a car.

• Aug. 3 – Caller from the 600 block of Oak Street, Waupaca, reported the theft of a vehicle.

• Aug. 3 – Kwik Trip, West Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported a man in an orange Grand Am was at the pumps slumped over the steering wheel for at least 10 minutes.

• Aug. 3 – Caller from the 700 block of East Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported someone stole his laptop computer from out of his truck.

• Aug. 3 – Caller from 800 block of East Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported finding a laptop computer outside her house.

• Aug. 2 – Caller from the E8500 block of Weyauwega Road, New London, reported someone stole a check and wrote it out to himself for $900.

• Aug. 2 – Caller from the 100 block of West Parker Street, Weyauwega, reported someone stole a weed trimmer, compound bow and other items from his garage.

• Aug. 2 – Caller from the E5000 block of Larry Road, New London, reported his girlfriend moved in with him last September and brought a dog and five cats. One of the cats had four kittens. And now his basement is a mess.

• Aug. 1 – Tri-County Overhead Door Service, Hillshire Drive, New London, reported numerous tools and a radio had been taken from a work truck.

• Aug. 1 – Caller from the E1700 block of Wolf River Road, Iola, reported one of his employees picked up some tools and he has not heard from him in two weeks.

• Aug. 1 – Matthews Tire and Auto Service, West Union Street, Waupaca, reported someone went into the shop between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. and dug through the tires without consent.

• Aug. 1 – Caller from the 500 block of high Street, Waupaca, reported someone stole his 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee the previous night, and it was later found at a Citgo station in Grand Chute.

Traffic
One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:17 p.m. Sunday, July 29, in the town of Farmington.

According to the accident report, Maria F. Meyer, 23, Milwaukee, was stopped in the median on U.S. 10 near the intersection with County Trunk Q.

When she tried to cross the eastbound lanes her vehicle was struck by a car driven by Emily J. Taggert, 27, Waupaca.

Taggert was injured and transported to ThedaCare in Waupaca.

A preliminary breath test indicated Meyer had a .127 blood-alcohol content.

Meyer was charged with causing injury while operating under the influence.
