Lager, Timothy Arthur

Timothy Arthur Lager (aka Timothy O’Toole), age 78, of Fremont, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018, following injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident on August 11.

He was born in Spooner, WI to the late Arthur and Lucille (Donatell) Lager on October 14, 1939. Tim graduated from Spooner High School in 1957. Tim married Rosalie Litza and together they had three children, Steven, Brian and Timothy. In 1996, Tim married Karen Kaufmann. Tim was in the printing trade for 61 years and was the owner of Waupaca Color Graphics for 32 years. He started his printing career in Minneapolis, MN and while working for Print Craft Inc., he was very proud to have been chosen to do a very classified brochure for Honeywell that included the first photos of the first moon shot. Tim loved his profession his whole life and will be remembered for his generosity, good humor, love of life, love of classic cars and his love for family.

Tim is survived by his wife, Karen; three sons, Steve (Jolene) Lager, Zimmerman, MN; Brian Lager, Elk River, MN; and Timothy (Sunday) Lager, Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Hayley and Joe Lager; two step-children, Shannon Kaufmann and Stacy Kaufmann Stroker; step-granddaughter, Raini Stroker; two sisters, Connie (Jim) Abbs and Judy (Joe) Powers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard and a sister, Nanette.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 107 Tustin Rd., Fremont. Pastor Stephen Pope will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Spooner. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 12 noon until the time of service. Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont is assisting the family.
