LaVern M. Fraedrich of Pine River, age 82, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018. He was born on January 17, 1936 to the late Louis and Helena (Koop) Fraedrich. On June 18, 1966 he married Arice Mach. LaVern was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi. He was a veteran of the Army. LaVern enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Arice; children, Lee (Sheila Barnick) Fraedrich of Marion, and Dawn (Joe) Filen of Pine River; grandson, Brandon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Penny (Tilly), Eddie, Marvin and Lorna.
The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi with Rev. Mark Meier Sr. officiating. The visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery in West Bloomfield. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. We look forward to seeing LaVern in the Resurrection with Jesus.
