Carl E. Engle, age 83, a resident of Crossroads Care Center in Weyauwega, died Saturday, October 6, 2018.
Carl was born in Centerville, Iowa on May 3, 1935 to the late Mabel and Alfred Engle. He married Beulah Dykstra in 1955 and they had four children. Carl’s special friend, Helen Brown still resides in Waynesboro, Mississippi. Carl was in the millwright business since the age of 16. He was a carpenter, first building houses, until he expanded into the more industrial businesses. Carl held a patent for an industrial waste grinder. He ran many crews and his businesses took him all over the United States. Carl always enjoyed seeing all of his kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carl is survived by his special friend, Helen Brown; children, Wanda Hildebrand, Pat (Terry) Schoenick, Wayne (Lisa) Engle and Kurt (Tracy) Engle and brother, Stan (Peg) Engle. Carl is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, John Hildebrand and four brothers.
As per Carl’s wishes, no services will be held. His family will be taking his ashes to Centerville, Iowa and having a private ceremony at that time. The Cline Hanson Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega is serving the family. www.clinehansondahlkefuneralhomes.com
