Arthur R. Monteferrante, age 71, passed away Thursday, Sept 27, 2018 at the VA home in King, WI after a long battle of Pneumonia.
Mr. Monteferrante is survived by his two sons, Steven (Jessica) of Portage, WI and Alfonso from New Orleans, LA. He also leaves behind three grandchildren. Stefan from Grand Forks, ND, Landon and Adrianna Monteferrante; a sister Diane Daidone and one niece.
Arthur is an Army veteran of The Vietnam War, where he earned numerous service medals. Arthur grew up in Deer Park, NY, son of Arthur and Giovannani “Jean” Monteferrante. He was a bricklayer by trade. He took great pride in his craftsmanship. After retiring from the business he moved to Delray Beach, FL and enjoyed spending time in his pool, fishing and enjoying retirement life.
Services will be held at the VA home in King, WI on Monday, Oct 22 at 11:30 a.m. at their cemetery on N2665 County Road QQ, King, WI. He will be given full military rites. He will be buried with his fellow veterans.
