Waupaca County sheriff’s report Oct. 22

• Oct. 21 – Pine Tree Supper Club, State Highway 54, Mukwa, reported two customers were there for two hours. After they left, another customer said the entire time the couple was at the club, their vehicle had been running and there had been a baby in it.

• Oct. 21 – Manawa caller reported a 66-year-old man who was being evicted had threatened suicide.

• Oct. 21 – Caller from the 1100 block of Division Street, New London, reported his girlfriend’s daughter came home drunk and was hitting both him and his girlfriend.

• Oct. 21 – Caller from South Grand Avenue, Embarrass, reported his girlfriend was “going crazy” and trying to cut herself with scissors.

• Oct. 21 – Kwik Trip, West Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported a driver of a silver Chevy Cruz looked and sounded intoxicated. She was described as “obnoxious, loud and slurring words.”

• Oct. 21 – Waupaca caller reported her soon-to-be-ex-husband was making suicidal comments and told her his life was in her hands.

• Oct. 21 – Caller from the 900 block of Churchill Street, Waupaca, reported being punched in the eye.

• Oct. 21 – Caller from the 200 block of North Main Street, Waupaca, reported her Food Share card had been stolen.

• Oct. 21 – Caller from the N300 block of East Road, Waupaca, reported his daughter’s boyfriend attacked and injured him.

• Oct. 20 – Caller from the 300 block of West Iola Street, Iola, reported his neighbors had been drinking. After he confronted them about their barking dogs, the neighbors went to his home and beat him up.

• Oct. 20 – Callers reported smashed mailboxes on Cobbtown Road, Farmington; Crystal Road, Lind; and Rural Road, Dayton.

• Oct. 20 – Caller from the 100 block of West Alfred Street, Weyauwega, reported the theft of some lawn decorations.

• Oct. 20 – Appleton caller reported her daughter has been drinking heavily for the past few weeks and is now texting she is going to die.

• Oct. 20 – Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported an altercation between an 86-year-old and a 74-year-old resident.

• Oct. 19 – Caller from the 400 block of West Beckert Road, New London, reported someone spray-painted his driveway.

• Oct. 19 – Whistling Pines, County Trunk QQ, Waupaca, reported a woman was being disorderly, swearing at people and yelling.

• Oct. 19 – Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported a resident was missing $70.

• Oct. 19 – Caller from the N5600 block of Collier Road, New London, reported her 15-year-old grandson threatened her and her husband.

• Oct. 19 – Caller from the N10900 block of State Highway 22, Clintonville, reported trucks going 70 mph and jake braking. Dispatch reported hearing a semi blowing its air horn during the call.

• Oct. 19 – Caller from the 500 block of Fifth Street, Waupaca, reported a 12-14 year old boy was wandering around the yard, wrapped up in a blanket. The boy seemed disoriented and had tried to open the front door.

• Oct. 18 – A caller from Birnamwood reported he purchased a sports card collection from a Manawa man. After he paid for the cards, the man discovered they did not match the photos he had seen before he made the purchase.

• Oct. 18 – Caller from the 1000 block of Covered Bridge Road, Waupaca, reported a stolen gun. He said the gun had been in his room at 10 p.m., but it went missing shortly before 12:30 a.m. He suspected one of the four other people in the house. He said they were all intoxicated.

• Oct. 17 – Matthews Tire and Auto Service reported it had security video of a man taking a tire from a pile at the back of the store.

• Oct. 17 – Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported a 69-year-old resident had marijuana in his room.

• Oct. 17 – A Waupaca woman reported her boyfriend threatened to kill himself after they had a fight and she left. She said he had been drinking.

• Oct. 16 – Caller from the E5700 block of Desert Road, Weyauwega, reported an attempted burglary. A storm window had been removed and placed against the building.

Traffic
One person was injured in a crash at 3:40 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, in the town of Larrabee.

Glen R. Lundt, 66, Manawa, was southbound on U.S. Highway 45 when a deer ran in front of his vehicle.

When he swerved to miss the deer, Lundt’s pickup truck went into the ditch and rolled over multiple times before coming to rest against a large tree.

Lundt was transported by ambulance to ThedaCare Medical Center in New London.
