Curtis C. Quimby, of Weyauwega, age 81, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
He was born on March 24, 1937 in New London, son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Webb) Quimby. Curtis graduated from Weyauwega-Fremont High School in 1955. Following high school, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 – 1959. After the service, he went to vocational school to be an auto mechanic. He worked as a mechanic in Milwaukee for over 20 years. He moved to Weyauwega in 1983. He then worked at the Hortonville Canning Factory for 13 years retiring in 1999. Curtis was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Weyauwega where he was a custodian for many years.
He is survived by cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service for Curtis will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Dan McCurdy officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. A visitation for Curtis will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
