Two hurt in Bear Creek crash

Two motorists were injured and taken to hospitals after a crash in the town of Bear Creek Saturday, Nov. 10.

The two-vehicle crash occurred on U.S. Highway 45 at Blueberry Road around 9:30 a.m.

A northbound vehicle attempted to turn left onto Blueberry Road when it collided with a southbound vehicle.

A 58-year-old rural Gresham man was extricated from his vehicle and flown by ThedaStar to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.

Clintonville Area Ambulance Service drove a 49-year-old Oshkosh man to ThedaCare Medical Center-New London.

The men’s names have not been released. Neither had a passenger in his vehicle.

U.S. 45 was closed for an hour and traffic was rerouted through Bear Creek and Sugar Bush.

Other agencies responding to the crash included Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, Bear Creek Fire Department and Bear Creek First Responders.
