Our Beloved mother Alice Marie Deschler (Vesper), age 84 passed away to be with our Lord and Savior on November 9, 2018 in the home of her daughter Sandra Clepper (Gary) in Cherokee, Oklahoma with her family by her side.
Alice fought an eight year battle with cancer. She was a tough cookie who never gave up. She fought hard and long. Alice was born September 14, 1934 and raised in Cameron, Wis. She was a long time resident of Iola, WI. For the last eight years she lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Luanne and Dave Nelson in New London, WI. Alice loved her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Deschler, two brothers, Donald Vesper and Gerald Vesper. Alice is survied by her son, Mark Etlicher (Carol), Weatherford, Texas; daughters, Luanne Nelson (Dave), New London, WI; Sandra Clepper (Gary, Cherokee, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Elizabeth Ordonez (Tomas), Andrew Nelson (Tessa), Jessica Nelson, John Etlicher, Jeremy Etlicher (Taylor), Mathew Jinkens (Latrisha), Adam Jinkens; four great-grandchildren: Shealynn, Emrey, Kelsey, Kassidy, Alice and Sofia. Her wonderful niece Darlene Kurshinsky, and nephew Douglas Garner, both of Cameron, WI, also survive.
Alice was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, New London, WI. A memorial is being held Saturday November 24, 2018 at St. John’s church.
