Darlene J. Preuss, age 82 of New London, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at ThedaCare Medical Center, New London.
Darlene Joan Preuss was born September 25, 1936 in Clintonville, daughter to the late Glenn and Gertrude (Miller) Preuss. She lived at home with her parents until 1996, when she moved to The Pines, (formerly Pine Manor), Embarrass for 10 years. Darlene then relocated to The Partridge House Group Home in New London in 2006. Over the years, Darlene was fortunate to have family and care-givers in her life who truly loved her. Now she’s in God’s care.
Survivors include: sisters, Carolyn Barenwald, Sun Prairie and Debra Tackett, Fond du Lac; many nieces, a nephew, and cousins. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, LaVonne Rost; a brother-in-law, John Tackett and other beloved family members.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, Clintonville, with the Rev. Aric Fenske officiating. Interment will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Bear Creek following the service. Friends may call on Tuesday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
