Mork, Mary (Regel)

Mary Regel Mork, 88, of Tallahassee Florida passed away on Sunday, December 2. Mary was born to Louie and Aleine Regel on September 3, 1930 in Waupaca, Wisconsin. After moving to Tallahassee in 1965, she worked as a bookkeeper for Eli Roberts Fuel Oil Company and later Commonwealth Corporation. Mary retired from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Accounts Payable Department. As a hobby, Mary loved to read and crochet. She also enjoyed working in her yard and greenhouse. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler and often brought home the High Roller award.

Survivors include her children Steve Mork (Kathy) of Tallahassee and Peggy McLaughlin (Mac) of Crawfordville, FL; sister, Lenice Hansen of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; Grandchildren, Kris Bennett (Amy), Jason Mork (Sheila), Kim Brantley (Chad), Brian Mork and Kara McLaughlin (Kenny); six great-grandchildren and two great-great  grandchildren.  Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Phillip Charles Mork.

There will be a memorial service on Monday, December 17 at 2:00PM at Culley’s MeadowWood  Funeral Home, Riggins Road, Tallahassee FL.
