Scott L. Looker, age 52, of Waupaca, passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his wife, children, family and close friends on Tuesday, December 25, 2018.
He was born on May 17, 1966 in Appleton, WI, the son of John “Casey” and Claudette (Frost) Looker. On February 7, 1994, Scott married Leah Fields in Jamaica. Scott worked as a machine operator at Presto Products in Weyauwega for over 30 years. Scott’s greatest love was the time he spent with his family. He loved fishing and spending time boating on the river; he enjoyed grilling and was happy to take on that duty at family functions; he also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and he had a strong passion for listening to music.
Scott is survived by his wife, Leah; their children, Brady and McKenna, Waupaca; his mother, Claudette, Fremont; two sisters, Vicki (Robert) Lowe, Milwaukee and Julie (Mark) Lison, NC; a brother, Jeff (Mellanie Grimmer), Fremont; his mother-in-law, Judy McDaniel, New London; two brothers-in-law, Shane (Mary) Fields, New Berlin and Troy (Leanne) Fields, New London; nieces and nephews, Sean, Jordan, Justin, Amanda, Taylor, Garrett (Ari), Morgan, Gavin, and Madeline, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many special friends, including his long-time friends, Mike and Kim Dohm and their children. Scott was preceded in death by his father, John “Casey” Looker; fathers-in-law, Kenneth Fields and Jim “Mac” McDaniel; and his niece and goddaughter, Allison Fields, whom he had a very special bond with.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont. Father Bob Kollath will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home
