Hortonville boys’ basketball falls to Appleton West

Polar Bears drop to 5-5

The Hortonville boys’ basketball team was defeated by Appleton West 67-58 at home on Tuesday, Jan. 8.

Hortonville’s Mitch Tandeski finished with a team-high 14 points, and Cole Warning added 10 points.

Polar Bears’ Jordan Jahnke scored eight points, while Parker Lawrence and Logan Grossman each added seven.

The Polar Bears went into halftime trailing 33-26 and were outscored 34-32 in the second half.

Hortonville had its four-game winning streak snapped, as the Polar Bears dropped to 5-5 overall and 4-4 in the Fox Valley Association.
