New London boys’ basketball defeated at home

West De Pere rallies back

New London boys’ basketball was defeated by West De Pere 67-59 at home on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

The Bulldogs went into halftime with a 37-30 lead, but the Phantoms outscored New London 37-22 in the second half.

New London led the entire second half until the two-minute mark, and West De Pere pulled away for an eight-point win.

Garret Locy led the Bulldogs with a team-high 19 points.

New London’s Connor Brinkman added 14 points, and Gabe Wohlt had 11.

The Bulldogs’ record dropped to 8-4 with the loss, but a victory over Lakeland Union on Friday might improved New London to 9-4 overall.
