Little Wolf Diner replaces Daily Grind

Kevin Mitchell has purchased The Daily Grind is turning it into the Little Wolf Diner and Pizzeria.
The establishment is located at located at 310 S Bridge St., in Manawa.
“My homemade pizza, spaghetti and lasagna have been very successful,” said Mitchell, who also owns TK Bar & Grill. “I wanted to provide a more family friendly atmosphere.”
Mitchell took over ownership on Jan. 15.
He noted that TK Bar & Grill and Little Wolf Diner and Pizzeria are two separate entities that will have different menus and atmospheres.
“We will be serving a complete breakfast menu, along with burgers and wraps, featuring daily/weekly specials,” said Mitchell. “Our main focus will be homemade breads, pizza, spaghetti and lasagna.”
His goal is to provide a restaurant that is family and community orientated, featuring good food and friendly service.
“A place for all ages to gather after church or a sporting event,” he said. “And a comfortable atmosphere to gather with friends for conversation and good food.”
Little Wolf Diner and Pizzeria officially opened Monday, Jan. 21.
“We will be open from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. serving breakfast and lunch to begin with,” said Mitchell. “Then we will be expanding the hours of operation to include supper. Eventually our hours will expand based up community and school events.”
