Marotz faces more drug charges
Suspect has two prior narcotics cases
Orland O. Marotz Jr., 47, Waupaca, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place and three counts of felony bail jumping.
Waupaca officers and Waupaca County deputies executed a search warrant at Marotz’s home on Thursday, Jan. 24.
Officers reported finding three gem bags with meth hidden in an 8-inch hole in the wall of Marotz’s bedroom.
According to the criminal complaint, a witness told investigators Marotz purchased meth, sold some of it and used the rest.
On Jan. 19, 2017, Marotz was charged with two counts of possession of narcotics and released on a $2,000 signature bond.
On May 2, 2018, he was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana and two counts of felony bail jumping. Marotz was released two days later after posting a $2,500 cash bond.
He is currently in custody on a $5,000 cash bond.
