Bulldogs fall to Green Bay East

The New London basketball team had its five-game winning streak ended with a 68-59 home loss to Green Bay East on Friday, Feb. 8.
Garret Locy led the team with 14 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.
New London scored the game’s first eight points, but Green Bay East came back to score 17 unanswered points for a 17-8 first half lead.
The Bulldogs went into halftime trailing 26-18.
In the second half, New London trailed 47-30 midway through the half but went on a run and cut the lead to three with a score of 56-53 with 2 minutes, 45 seconds left.
Green Bay East pulled away in the final two minutes for the victory.
Brady Rodgers scored 13 points and added six assists and five rebounds for New London.
Logan Locy had nine points with five rebounds for the Bulldogs.
