Senior led Manawa to division title

Not only did the Manawa boys’ and girls’ basketball teams win Central Wisconsin Conference North Division championships this season, the Wolves also had a player of the year as well as two coaches of the year.

Boys’ team coaches selected senior Jeven Sachtjen as the player of the year, while Troy Wiesner and Pat Collins were named the division’s boys’ and girls’ coach of the year, respectively.

Sachtjen joined teammates Josh Griesbach, and Mason Wiesner on the boys’ all-conference first team, while Ethan Wiesner made the second team,

Laynie Bessette made the girls’ first team, while Kaitlyn Miller made the second team and Kellynn Kaczorowski and Mikayla Wegener were named to the honorable mention team.
