Teachers and students are the only people who will experience the impacts of the decisions made by the school board, whether they are financial or otherwise.
It makes sense, then, for parents to be represented by someone on the school board.
In Waupaca, the school board gained a parent when Dimitri Martin was elected. He should be elected again so that parents continue to have a voice on the board.
