Waupaca County sheriff’s report April 22
• April 21 – Caller from Whistling Pines, County Trunk QQ, Waupaca, reported a resident was out of control and choking a staff member.

• April 21 – Caller from The Pines, Clintonville reported a male resident was combative and kicking and hitting anybody who came near him. They requested an officer and an ambulance.

• April 21 – Caller from the N3400 block of State Highway 110, Weyauwega, reported the ex-boyfriend of a woman he is currently dating slashed all four tires on his camper.

• April 21 – Weyauwega caller reported his 16-year-old daughter is in a trailer bedroom with an older man and refusing to come out.

• April 20 – Caller from the trailer park on the 300 block of Walnut Street, Manawa, reported their neighbor was yelling and making loud banging sounds.

• April 20 – Caller from the trailer park on the 300 block of Walnut Street, Manawa, reported his neighbor was harassing and calling the police for no reason.

• April 20 – Weyauwega caller reported a man was at a bar, allowing his puppy to drink beer. She told dispatch multiple times she should have taken the puppy. Dispatch advised against that.

• April 20 – Iola woman reported her ex-husband called her boss and tried to get her fired.

• April 20 – Weyauwega caller reported a woman was walking down County Trunk X, screaming and holding her hands like she was praying.

• April 20 – Waupaca caller reported two children, ages 3 or 4 years old, were playing outside with no clothes on.

• April 20 – Caller from U.S. Highway 45, Bear Creek, reported she came home to find an entire field next to her house had been burned and she did not know what happened.

• April 20 – National Suicide Prevention hotline reported a 22-year-old woman asked for help in tying a noose.

• April 19 – Wait Auto Sales, State Highway 45, Clintonville, reported a burglary with significant property damage. Among the stolen items was a checkbook.

• April 19 – Caller reported what appeared to be a drug transaction at the Aldi’s parking lot in Waupaca.

• April 19 – Guest at the Comfort Suites in Waupaca reported the theft of his cellphone. His phone was tracked to New London.

• April 19 – Waupaca caller reported an 8-year-old boy with ADHD was kicking and screaming, making it impossible for her to drive safely. She said she was at the K-Mart parking lot in Waupaca and asked for an officer to speak with the boy.

• April 19 – Caller from the 100 block of North Oborn Street, Waupaca, reported smelling a strong odor of natural gas. The Waupaca Fire Department was dispatched to the scene.

• April 18 – Caller from the 1400 block of West Jennings Street, New London, reported the theft of an air compressor.

• April 18 – Waupaca man went to police station and asked to speak to an officer about some false charges against him.

• April 18 – Midstate Marine, State 110, Fremont, reported an attempted burglary. Door knobs were damaged.

• April 18 – Crossroads Care Center, Waupaca, requested an officer for an out-of-control woman.

• April 18 – Caller from the N4700 block of County Trunk B, New London, reported a couple broke into her house and forced themselves into her bedroom. The woman pushed her onto the bed and the man punched her in the face. The man involved in this incident called and reported some people kicked in the door to his house. The two parties made multiple calls to 911 accusing the other party of thefts and assaults.

• April 18 – Manawa caller reported he forgot to take his cash from an ATM and the driver of a black pickup that had been behind him took the money.

• April 17 – Caller from the 600 block of West Jennings Street, New London, reported work tools had been stolen from his truck overnight.

• April 17 – Caller from the 100 block of West Lake Street, Waupaca, reported another tenant was out of control, screaming and yelling.

• April 16 – Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported a 75-year-old resident assaulted a CNA, drew blood and injured her shoulder. She wants to file charges.

• April 16 – The Iola-Scandinavia School District requested a welfare check on a 17-year-old student who had not attended school for nearly a month. Staff had tried calling and mailing the parents, but had received no response.

• April 16 – A Bear Creek man committed suicide by running his truck in a garage.
