Hofferber, Ryley P.

Ryley P. Hofferber, age 20 of Weyauwega died on Monday, April 29, 2019, following an addiction that he fought so hard to overcome.

He was born on October 2, 1998 in Neenah, WI to Ryan & Carrie (Ruebl) Hofferber. He graduated from Weyauwega High School and worked for HUI Manufacturing Co.

Ryley was the type of person everyone wanted to be around. When in his presence, people felt a warmth and welcomeness. Ryley had a natural tendency to put smiles on the faces of all he encountered whether it was from a silly expression, a sarcastic response, or lending a helping hand to those in need.

Ryley had many influential people in his life, especially his family, who helped shape him into a kind and courteous young man. He cherished time spent with his niece and nephews, which brought him genuine happiness. Ryley’s friendships strengthened through his love of baseball, bowling and music. He could always be seen sporting his favorite Brewers baseball hat. Ryley’s love for people and his eagerness to keep them happy were a top priority. He had a natural sense of knowing what people needed, whether it was to simply sit and talk, toss a baseball around or play a game of cribbage. Throughout Ryley’s life he understood that while people come and go, the relationships he made and the time spent together was a gift. He didn’t want to be left with wanting or needing “just one more day,” so he made the moments count.

Ryley is survived by his loving parents; Ryan & Carrie Hofferber; his siblings; Megan (Andy) Fletcher and Cody (Kayleigh Rennau) Wilz & sister-in-law, Christie Wilz; his niece and nephews; Isabelle, Porter, Caden & Korbin all of whom hold Ryley’s smile in their heart, and grandparents; Jim and Dawn Hofferber, Diane & Jeff Zwiers, and Jeff & Kathy Ruebl. Ryley is also survived by special friend Corina Winters. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Paul.

Ryley faced every day with admirable perseverance, tenacity and a zest for life.
