Koeller, Richard “Dick” Sr.

Richard “Dick” R. Koeller, Sr., age 73 of Embarrass passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at his home.

Richard Ray Koeller was born on August 21, 1945 in Shawano as the son of the late Victor and Alice (Dalum) Koeller. He attended St. James Lutheran School in Shawano and graduated from Shawano High School as a member of the class of 1963. In 1963 he began his service to his country in the United States Air Force. Dick was stationed in Guam and later discharged in August of 1967. He worked for Wisconsin Finance in Shawano for a short time before taking a job with Torborgs Lumber in Clintonville where he worked for 38 years. Dick guarded the village of Embarrass for 28 years as the Village Constable. He enjoyed trips to the casino, fishing, and driving cars for Klein Auto in Clintonville.

Survivors include: three sons: Rick “Ziggy” (Tracy); Rob (Kathy); Rory (Autumn) Koeller; grandchildren: Miranda (Danny) Pahlnow; Makayla and McKenzie Koeller, Jazelle Koeller; Sophie and Danny Bater; Caitlin and Cole Vyskocil; Scott, Brad, and Josh Rollo; Raven Anker, and Skye and Gabriel Bohm; great-granddaughters, Nevaeh and Willow Pahlnow; sisters, Pammy (Steve) Krueger and Lori (Jim) Weeks; brothers, Jerry (Trudy) Koeller and Jim (Mary) Koeller; Longtime “Renter” and “Significant Other” Marilyn Eggert; a brother-in-law, Daryl Krueger. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Janice Krueger, and his very favorite aunt and uncle, Catherine (Carl) Dalum.

Dick’s family would like to thank his personal special nurse, Bobbi Visocky and Trish Bater who was always there to help in anyway. They also express their gratitude to Mick and Sandy at Mickster’s Pub along with their crew, especially the girls.
