James “Jim” W. Becker. Born December 19, 1961. Born to eternal life April 30, 2019.
Husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, friend. Jim was a man with a kind heart, a big smile, and a bigger laugh. A trapper, a hunter, a fisherman; a man who loved his family, a very proud Papa, a storyteller. He is loved and will be deeply and forever missed.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy; children: Angela Becker (Lance Niemuth, significant other) of Waupaca; Robert (Wiyada) Spicer of Las Vegas, NV; Karena McKevett (Jason) of Watertown and Kristin (Brad) Walter of Watertown; parents, Robert and Annette Becker of Goodman; grandchildren: Brady, Lilly, Morgan, Eli, Layla and Maci; sister, Cynthia Corrigan; brothers, David and John Becker; as well as many other family members and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his best friend, Stan, and his feline companion, Pomp.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
