Weyauwega-Fremont also defeats Wautoma

Weyauwega-Fremont ended up on the short end of a 7-2 score May 6 in a matchup of Central Wisconsin Conference East Division baseball teams in Iola.
Connor Kurki and Justin Sivertson had three of Iola-Scandinavia’s 12 hits and teammates Kellan Wandtke and Carter Kurki drove in two runs each.
The Indians also handed Wautoma a 7-6 loss May 3.
Weyauwega-Fremont hosted Manawa May 7; will travel to Keshena to face Menominee Indian at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9; and will head to Berlin to face Berlin and Winnebago Lutheran, with games scheduled to get underway at 10:30 a.m.
