Waupaca County sheriff’s report May 13

• May 13 – New London caller reported that while he was away, someone burned all of his clothes because of fleas.

• May 12 – Caller from the 1200 block of Wyman Street, New London, reported someone slashed his tires and splashed milk all over his car. He suspected a man who had been sending him threatening text messages.

• May 12 – Ramada Inn Grand Seasons, Waupaca, reported an intoxicated man left the hotel and fell down on the sidewalk.

• May 12 – Waupaca caller reported a pit bull attacked his family as they were riding their bikes on Smith Road in Waupaca.

• May 12 – Clarity Care, New London, reported a resident had become very violent and was hitting staff.

• May 11 – Caller from Boulder Junction requested a welfare check on her brother-in-law who is homeless in Waupaca and has been out of contact with his family.

• May 11 – Caller from the E9100 block of Hansen Road, New London, reported hearing about 100 rounds fired in the previous 20 minutes by what sounded like a semi-automatic weapon.

• May 11 – Fleet Farm, Waupaca, reported detaining a shoplifter.

• May 11 – Waupaca Woods Restaurant, reported a man was out of control and threatening people.

• May 11 – Caller from 100 block of Pine Street, Waupaca, reported two boys were riding up and down the street, yelling obscenities and making sexual comments at her daughter.

• May 11 – Caller from East Road, Waupaca, reported a neighbor was mistreating a baboon. Officers reported the complaint was unfounded.

• May 11 – Caller from the 500 block of Demarest Avenue, Waupaca, reported receiving harassing text messages from his daughter’s boyfriend.

• May 11 – Caller from 800 block of Churchill Street, Waupaca, reported an aggressive pit bull chased her as she tried to enter her car. Now, she was unable to leave her house.

• May 11 – Caller reported an intoxicated woman had been bar hopping all day and was now leaving TK Bar and Grill in Manawa.

• May 11 – Caller from the 1100 block of Jefferson Street, New London, reported his neighbor played his music so loud he could hear it inside his home.

• May 10 – Caller from the 100 block of Pine Street, Waupaca, reported a naked 4-year-old boy was chasing a dog down the street.

• May 10 – Caller from the 300 block of Oak Street, Waupaca, reported his neighbor abuses his dog.

• May 10 – Caller from the 400 block of Summer Street, Weyauwega, reported her 14-year-old son was out of control.

• May 10 – Caller from the N200 block of Park Lane, Waupaca, reported a neighbor plays his guitar loudly at all hours of the day and night.

• May 9 – Caller from the 500 block of Division Street, New London, reported his landlord was harassing him about his apartment being dirty.

• May 8 – New London caller reported receiving threatening text messages from her ex-boyfriend. The messages made reference to harming her son while he was at work.

• May 7 – Caller from the 400 block of South Western Avenue, Waupaca, reported a man who could not speak coherently and kept saying, “I don’t know.”

• May 7 – Caller from the 500 block of High Street, Waupaca, reported a man was living in what was supposed to be a vacant apartment and playing loud music.

• May 7 – Hardee’s, West Fulton, Waupaca, requested a welfare check for a man who was staggering back and forth on the sidewalk.

• May 7 – Caller from the 700 block of LeRoy Butler Drive, Waupaca, reported her boyfriend’s son stole her vehicle. She said he snatched the keys from her hand and drove away. Her purse was in her car.
