Couple busted for heroin

Prior narcotics convictions for both suspects

Daniel Stuebs, 34, and Jessica Stuebs, 35, both of Weyauwega, are charged with possession of heroin with intent to deliver.

On March 26, Waupaca County Deputy Nate Nelson observed the Stuebs in a silver Volkswagen Jetta. However, the license plates were registered to a white van.

Nelson pulled the car over on U.S. Highway 10 near County Trunk U in rural Weyauwega.

According to the criminal complaint, Nelson and Deputy Bryan Strobusch subsequently conducted a search of the vehicle and found 0.27 grams of heroin.

The Stuebs allegedly make multiple trips to Milwaukee each week to purchase heroin and sell to acquaintances.

They are both in custody on probation holds.

Last year, Judge Vicki Clussman imposed and stayed an 18-month prison term and placed Daniel Stuebs on three years of probation.

He was convicted of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of narcotics and possession of marijuana.

On May 3, Daniel Stuebs’ probation was revoked and he was sentenced to prison.

Jessica Stuebs was convicted last year of possession of cocaine with intent as party to a crime, maintaining a drug house and felony bail jumping.

Clussman imposed and stayed a three-year prison sentence and placed Jessica Stuebs on five years of probation.

She is currently awaiting a revocation hearing.
