Woman charged for meth

Suspect in jail on $2,000 cash bond

Katie L. Nielson, 39, Clintonville, is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Thursday, May 2, Clintonville Police Officer Anthony Arrieta made contact with Nielson on 14th Street.

Judge Troy Nielsen had issued a bench warrant for her arrest after she failed to make a scheduled court appearance on Feb. 5, so Arrieta took her into custody.

Nielson was charged with misdemeanor theft on Nov. 28, 2018.

After he handcuffed her, Arrieta reported finding a butane lighter and 3.66 grams of meth in Nielson’s pocket.

He also found an orange pipe in her purse.

Nielson is currently in Waupaca County jail on a $2,000 cash bond.
