Deputies find meth, pot after stopping suspicious vehicle

Jennifer M. Bostone, 29, Appleton, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

On May 27, a 911 caller on County Trunk X in the town of Lind reported a gray Chevy S-10 was parked in her driveway. She did not know whose car it was.

Waupaca County deputies Nate Nelson and John Stephens headed to the scene in separate vehicles.

As they were traveling southbound on County X, they passed the suspect vehicle, which was going northbound.

The officers made U-turns and pulled the vehicle over.

Nelson later radioed dispatch and reported a female passenger, identified as Bostone, had a loaded syringe.

Stephens reported finding marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle and needles and meth in Bostone’s purse.

Bostone was released from custody on a $2,000 signature bond.

She pleaded no contest to possession of narcotics on Jan. 6, 2016, and was placed on two years of probation.

On June 28, 2016, Judge Raymond Huber revoked Bostone’s probation and sentenced her to 18 months in prison and 18 months of extended supervision.

In 2011, Waupaca County prosecutors filed five felony and six misdemeanor cases against Bostone.

She pleaded no contest to six counts of disorderly conduct, four counts of theft and one count of resisting an officer.

Huber placed her on three years of probation with 30 days in jail.

On April 27, 2012, Huber revoked her probation and sentenced Bostone to six months in jail with 125 days credit.
