Drug bust in Waupaca

Suspect in jail on $10,000 cash bond

Dennis R. Armstrong, 69, Waupaca, is charged with possession with intent to deliver of non-narcotic drugs, maintaining a drug trafficking place, illegal possession of prescription drugs and three counts of felony bail jumping.

On June 25, officers executed a search warrant at Armstrong’s apartment on the 400 block of East Fulton Street in Waupaca.

They reported finding 86 suboxone sublingual film, a prescription drug placed under the tongue to treat addicts, and three methocarbamol pills.

According to the criminal complaint, investigators conducted several controlled drug buys in the parking lot of Armstrong’s apartment building prior to executing the warrant.

He has four pending felony cases in Fond du Lac County.

On June 7, 2018, Armstrong was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver. He was released from custody on a $50,000 signature bond.

On Aug. 8, 2018, he was charged with conspiracy to deliver cocaine and released on a $10,000 signature bond.

On Oct. 3, 2018, Armstrong was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of felony bail jumping.

He remained in Fond du Lac County jail until March 27, 2019, when his $10,00 cash bond was amended to a $10,000 signature bond.

Armstrong remains in Waupaca County jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
