App’s paintings on display

Marie App, of Ogdensburg, recently had her art work accepted in three juried shows in Wisconsin.

Known for her oil and watercolor paintings, App’s oil paintings are featured at Northern Homes and Gretchen’s Cafe on Main Street in Waupaca.

App’s paintings are on display at the following shows:

• New Visions Gallery, 1000 N. Oak Ave., Marshfield, “Culture and Agriculture 2019,” May 20 to July 26. Watercolor titled “When Cows Pastured Outdoors.”

• Riverfront Arts Center, 1200 Crosby Ave, Stevens Point, “ Visions 2019,” reception Friday July 12, exhibit July 12 to Aug. 18. Watercolor/collage titled “Two-Wheel Wonder.”

• Scarabocchio Gallery/Museum, 800 Main St., Stevens Point. “Collage Ensemble,” Oct. 12 to Nov. 15. Watercolor/collage: mixed media. Most themes of App’s 15 works are music-related. Call 715-345-7726 for more information.
