Waupaca County sheriff’s report July 15

• July 15 – Caller reported a man was passed out on the ground on the 700 block of Berlin Street, Waupaca.

• July 14 – Weyauwega caller reported at 1:31 a.m. that his roommate was drunk, had passed out and locked him out of their apartment.

• July 14 – Caller from the 500 block of Union Street, Manawa, reported somebody vandalized both their cars by egging and spray-painting them, and deflating the tires.

• July 14 – Caller from the N10000 block of Wrolstad Road, Iola, reported a neighbor’s friends had threatened to burn his home down after he complained the smoke from their fire was coming into his house.

• July 14 – Wild Rose caller reported his mother-in-law was drunk, not fully dressed and trying to take custody of his child.

• July 13 – Subway, Depot Street, Manawa, reported a woman with a dog entered the store, got a drink, left without paying for it, then fell asleep at a table outside the store.

• July 13 – Caller reported a Clintonville man videotaped his wife while she was naked, then threatened to post the video online if she did not leave the house.

• July 13 – Anonymous caller asked police to check on a homeless woman who was living with her 4-month-old child in a small pickup truck in the New London area. She said the woman may be doing meth.

• July 12 – A New London man and his wife each placed 911 calls regarding their disagreement over when the man could pick up his son.

• July 12 – Caller from the N4800 block of Foley Drive, Waupaca, reported their mailbox had been vandalized for the fifth time this year.

• July 12 – Caller from the E600 block of Grenlie Road, Waupaca, reported her mailbox had been damaged three times in the past month.
• July 12 – Weyauwega caller reported a 21-year-old man was overdosing on heroin.

• July 12 – Caller from the N2500 block of County Trunk E, Waupaca, reported a neighbor’s German shepherd attacked her while she was mowing the lawn.

• July 12 – Caller reported he was southbound on U.S. Highway 45 when a blue car began tailgating him. When he flipped the bird, the other driver appeared to point a gun at him.

• July 12 – Caller from the E6600 block of Butternut Road, Manawa, reported his neighbor said a man had entered his house while he was away. When the caller came home, he found the door open, the cupboards open and a can of paint opened and splattered.

• July 12 – Ogdensburg caller reported buying a Google Play Card to pay for fees on a federal grant. He said he was scammed out of $200.

• July 12 – Rawhide Boys Ranch, New London, reported a youth needed to be transported and evaluated for threatening to harm himself.

• July 12 – Caller from the E9500 block of Seventh Street, Clintonville, reported the people tarring her driveway entered her house and took $2,000.

• July 12 – Kwik Trip, County Trunk QQ, Waupaca, reported receiving a fake $100 bill.

• July 11 – Caller reported he was driving on the westbound entrance ramp to U.S. Highway 10 in Waupaca when he was nearly hit by a vehicle going the wrong way down the ramp.

• July 11 – Manawa caller requested a welfare check on her husband who made videos of him beating himself up.

• July 11 – Waupaca caller reported his friend had overdosed and was not breathing. He said he had already given his friend two shots of narcan and was attempting CPR.

• July 11 – Chase Bank reported an 89-year-old Waupaca customer had been scammed out of $14,000 by someone claiming to have a prize for her and her husband.

• July 10 – Caller from the 1000 block of County QQ, Waupaca, reported his wife withdrew half the money from their account and left him while he was in the hospital for one week.

• July 9 – Waupaca County Department of health and Human Serivces requested deputies check on a 52-year-old man who threatened to shoot people who had wronged him and said he had thoughts of killing people.

• July 9 – Caller from Wolf River Avenue, Fremont, reported a 1986 Suzuki motorcycle had been stolen.
