Driver operating without license
No injuries were reported in a head-on collision between a semi and car on U.S. Highway 45 south of State Highway 54 in New London on Thursday morning.
At about 5:45 a.m., New London Police were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a northbound passenger car crossed the center line into the southbound lane striking a southbound semi.
The driver of the car was operating with a revoked license.
U.S. 45 was closed for several hours while crews removed the semi, which had left the roadway.
The roadway reopened at 11:45 a.m.
No further information is available. The crash is still under investigation.
New London Police was assisted by New London Fire, Gold Cross Ambulance, Waupaca Sheriff and Waupaca County Highway Department.
