Police report finding heroin
Andrew J. Lorge, 41, Bear Creek, is charged with a fourth drunken driving offense and possession of narcotics.
On Aug. 26, Waupaca County Deputy Adam Lange responded to a report of a car swerving between lanes on U.S. Highway 10.
When Lange found a vehicle on the shoulder of the highway, Lorge was trying to change its tire.
According to the criminal complaint, Lorge was unsteady on his feet, swayed from side to side and kept popping his trunk button even though the trunk was already open.
Lorge allegedly admitted to using heroin and smoking crack prior to driving his vehicle.
Lange reported finding a small plastic bag containing suspected heroin.
Lorge remains in custody on a $1,000 cash bond.
