Passenger killed, driver airlifted
A 25-year-old Bear Creek man was killed in a crash Sunday, Sept. 15, in the town of Lebanon.
Deputies responded to a 911 call of a one-vehicle crash shortly before 6 p.m. on County Trunk T and Nicolai Road.
According to the sheriff’s office, a southbound pickup truck failed to negotiate a curve, overturned and went into the ditch.
The passenger was thrown from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 24-year-old Bear Creek man, was extricated from the truck, and flown to ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah.
No further information is available at this time. The investigation is still ongoing.
