Mary Ruth Peterson, age 93 of Waupaca, WI entered her forever heavenly home in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Bethany Pines in Waupaca.
She was born on May 25, 1926 in LaPorte, Indiana. She married Adolph Peterson on August 25, 1945 in Heston, Indiana. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1998. Mary enjoyed sewing, crosswords, embroidering, gardening and selling her berries to the community. But mostly spending time with her family and many friends.
Mary is survived by her children, Dorothy Lanning of Alabama, Emil (Wendy Lu) Peterson of Waupaca, WI; grandchildren: Anthony (Dawn) Peterson, Judi (Robert) McCall, Tonya (Pete) Robinson, TonyAllen Peterson, Patrick (Jeanne) Peterson, Paul (Nichole) Peterson, Robert May, Raymond (Jennifer) Lanning, Joylene (Jeff) Bernard, Julie Lanning, Amanda Peterson; also many great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandchild Sarah Lanning.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19th at Waupaca Christian Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Pastor Carl Ferguson will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in the Town of Deerfield, WI. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
