Waupaca to host Freedom Sept. 19

Waupaca’s volleyball team improved to 2-0 in North Eastern Conference matches Sept. 12 by taking all three games from Clintonville.
The Comets opened the match with a 25-20 win and completed the sweep with 26-24 and 25-23 wins.
Team leaders included Tayler Carlson (17 assists, eight kills, four aces); Ava Degen (19 digs, 12 assists, six kills); Maddie Rhodes (12 digs, five kills, three aces); Hannah Jenson (12 digs, three aces); Alivia Degen (six kills, three aces); and Finley Charapata (six kills).
The Comets will host Freedom at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19.
